Quercus viminea Trel. 1924
Twigs slender (2 mm), fluted, from dingu scurfy-tomentose glabrescent,
rather glossy red, with little-evident lenticels. Buds reddish brown, glabrescent,
acutely ovoid, 2 x 3 mm. Leaves deciduous, narrowly lanceolate, very acute,
typically round-based, entire or aristately low-serrate above, small (1 or 1,5-2 x 4-10 cm),
glabrous and glossy; veins about 12 pairs, looped; petiole hoary or glabrescent, 1 x 5 mm.
