Fruits acorn 0.8-1.5 cm, broadly ovoid; enclosed 1/2 by cup; cup 6-8 mm long, 10-15 mm wide, glabrescente outside, tomentose inside, with 5-9 concentric rings with denticulate margin; scar 5 mm wide, convex; stylopodium persistent; maturing in 2 years;
