Fruits acorn 1.7 cm long, 1.2 cm wide; ovoid-ellipsoid; shiny reddish brown; enclosed 1/2 or 1/3 by cup; cup thin (1 mm), whitish tomentose outside, with 4-5 concentric rings denticulate at margin; scar 7 mm in diameter, convex; stylopodium persistent; maturing in 1 year;
