Fruits acorn 1.5-1.8 cm long; usually paired; pubescent, especially near apex; enclosed 1/4 or 1/3 by cup; cup bowl-shaped, 5-6 mm long x 10 mm wide, slightly tomentose outside, with 5-7 concentric rings entire or denticulate; scar flat; stylopodium persistent ;
